Wow, I'm sorry. I've seriously been neglecting this place. Anyway, I've finally gotten around to getting questions for the books, so we can get started. I'm posting separate entries for each book so it's easier and more organized. First up, Angels and DemonsCollapse )

Alright, it's been long enough. Here are the results of the vote:

Angels and Demons - Dan BrownCollapse )

Wicked - Gregory MaguireCollapse )

Mists of Avalon - Marion Zimmer BradleyCollapse )

As stated in the community info, you don't have to read all three if you don't want to (or are unable to get a copy). I'll* post the entries for the books in the next couple of days. I don't want them to get lost in your friends pages, and I'd like to give people (read: myself) a chance to actually get a hold of those books, because I don't own them. But I won't take too long, because I know some of you do own and/or have read those books and would like to get going. So yeah. Just thought I'd let you know which three we're focusing on. So when that happens, you're free to discuss whatever you like. Woo.

*I'll do it first, I guess. Just so you guys can get an idea of how to set it all up. After that, you guys can post entries. Sound good? Good. [/dictator]

Hello all, and welcome to gs_books. Everything (or almost everything) you need to know about this place is in the community info, so go have a look if you have any questions. If your questions aren't answered, just ask me.

Right. So. I'll just get started then, shall I? I've already taken several suggestions from people in an MSN chat. I have ten now, and you can vote for three of the ten. Obviously, the three with the most votes at the end will be the ones we read. Simple stuff. So I have summaries of the ten choices under the cut for you to read in case you aren't familiar with the books. Read 'em and vote, kids.

Round One: ChoicesCollapse )
